There are twelve Nepali Calendar Months. It is based on Bikram Sambat Calendar. Nepali calendar have following months: Baisakh, Jestha, Ashad, Shrawan, Bhadra, Ashoj, Kartik, Mangsir, Poush, Magh, Falgun and Chaitra. The new year begins with Baisakh month i.e. mid April.
