"A visually challenged scores well in his class 10th Boards"

By - Mahek
March 25th, Delhi

Amish Jain, the student of St. Teresa School scored 94% in his class 10th Boards, and came second in his school. He was at the second position by 2% ( as, the 1st : 96% ). During the announcement in the school, the children, standing in the assembly ground, were unaware of the child's disability and were surprised to know that the child was visually challenged.

According to our reports, Amish was blind right from his childhood, from about 4 years old age. This blindness wasn't hereditary, this had came up after an accident young Amish faced when he was just 4 years old. And since then, his life seemed to be in darkness. Although this darkness wasn't for much long time. The Teresian had decided his aim at an age when children are even unaware of what an aim actually means, at an age of just 6 years. His aim is to be a World Champion in the sport, Chess.

He had faced a lot of criticism from his childhood, due to his inability to see. This problem was tackled by the help of his parents and his most supportive and favourite teacher, Mrs. Meenushri Khanna, as he says, "Meenu ma'am has always supported me to achieve the impossible tasks. She is a great motivator. During my motivation sessions, I've even advised her to take up "Motivational Speaker" job as a part time job."
