d= volume of the oil drop/ area of the film

 

= 4/3 *pi* (0.025cm)^3/(pi* (10 cm)^2

 

= 2.08X10^-7 cm

Newton's III law:

Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.

Practical example:

1. If we hit a ball on the wall, the wall exerts equal force to push the ball back to us.

2. A Rocket moves forward by giving upward thrust but the exhaust moves backwards. The equal force is exerted.

3. Jellyfish moves upward in water with its legs moving downwards.
