Newton’s 3rd law of motion states that action and reaction are always equal but opposite in direction.A horse pulls a cart ,a person walks on the ground, hammer pushes a nail,magnets attract paper clip.These are some examples of newton’s third law of motion.In all these examples a force exerted on one object and that force is exerted by another object.

Explanation:

The force exerted by first object on another object is called action whereas the force exerted by second object on the first object is called reaction. according to newton's third law .eg.when a gun fired it exerts a forward force on the bullet called action. The bullet exert an equal an opposite reaction force on the gun . thus the gun move a backward direction .it's apply newton's third law.
