nationalism is an idea and movement that promotes the interest of a particular nation especially with the aim of gaining and maintaining the nation's sovereignty over it's homeland....... it also encourage pride in national achievement and is closely linked to patriotism.

nationalism mean a change in people's understanding of their identify and sense of belonging. the growth of modern nationalism is intimately connected connected to the anti colonial movement. people began discovering their unity in the process of their struggle wait colonialism.
