monsoon model - Monsoon model: For the first time, a model predicting monsoon was developed in 1877 by H. F. Blanford, the then founder of IMD. This was the first prediction of its kind and the parameter which was chosen for this prediction was the snowfall in the Himalayas.

The types of industrial waste generated include cafeteria garbage, dirt and gravel, masonry and concrete, scrap metals, trash, oil, solvents, chemicals, weed grass and trees, wood and scrap lumber, and similar wastes.
