i) Aeroponics

It is one of the technique of growing plants without utilisation of soil.In this method, the plant is allowed to grow in air or in a mist type of environment.

ii) Insectivorous Plants

The leaves of such plants are modified. Examples of such plants includes : Pitcher Plant. The modified leaves of auch plants can trap insects and then digest them.

iii) Active absorption

This type of absorption is the active process. Since it is active, it involves use of energy as ATP.
