■ Presence of more than one embryo in the seed.
1. It is due to the presence of more than one egg cell in the embryo sac and all the egg cell becomes fertilized.
2. Due to the development of more than one embryo sac in the ovule.
3. Due to the development of number of embryos from synergids and antipodals.
4. Development of number of embryos from fertilized egg cell and unfertilized egg cell.
