Experiment - Rutherford passed alpha particles through thin gold foil in a vacuum
Observationand features. he saw most of the alpha. Particle go straight and didn't return back which show a lot of space is empty in atom
Some particle get deflected by little or large angle which show center of atom contain positively charged nucleus which deflect positively charged a particles
Some a particles return back which shows center of atom contains hard and dense nucleus
