Write the observations of Rutherford experiment. Draw a suitable diagram as well.

 \Huge{\boxed{\pink{\mathcal{ANSWER}}}}

Following are the observations made by Rutherford : -

1. When the alpha - particles passed through the gold foil, he observed that many of the alpha - particles had passed through it. Therefore, he concluded that, many of the spaces in an atom are empty.

2. As many of the alpha - particles were passed through the gold foil, some of the rays were reflected back. He observed that, and concluded that, atoms are concerned of a centre.

3. As alpha - particles are charged positively, and when they passed through the gold foil, they were reflected back. He observed this and concluded that, the centre of an atom is positively charged as the alpha - particles are positively charged too and the like charges will repel each other.

Diagram is available in the attachment.
