Amazon rainforest is the largest rainforest in the world . 20% of Earth's oxygen comes from the Amazon rainforest. But recently Amazon rainforest caught fire. This was because of the tribal people who , do shifting cultivation , also called as slash and burn farming. Even after many tries of extinguishing the fire, it didn't stopped . There were 19,925 outbreaks last month . Amazon rainforest will take now millions of years to recover . Government was very unsuccessful for reducing the fire , but the fire found some relief because of a down pour.
