The Khilafat Movement was founded by the Ali brothers named Mohammed Ali and Shaukat Ali. They found it inorder to turn against the injustice made by the britain to the turkish people after the World War I. The turkish Sultan s Caliph was the head of the muslims in the world. Majority of Indian muslims need turkey. So, the caliph heads put pressure on britain government to treat the turkishers kindly. So, the muslims started the protest against the british government made it national movement called Khalifat Movement with the help of the Congress leaders who helped people to organize it throughout the country.
