favorite city is Toronto; it is a great city for three reasons which are is to live, work, and for tourism. The first reason is that Toronto is great city to live. It is quiet, clean and safe city to live in. Also, it is multicultural city, which is advantage for us, we could learn about different countries and cultures. For example, I remember when I was in high school that we celebrated the Multicultural Day. On that day everyone wore their cultural clothes, brought and shared cultural foods, also there were some representatives from each culture shared some important aspects of each culture. As a result I learned about different cultures and languages in Toronto. Toronto is good for education. They give more freedom to people. For example, in Toronto you could study as much you can, but back home in Sri Lanka we can only study up to certain age. The second reason is Toronto is good place to find a decent job. Toronto has many companies & factories; therefore we could get job related to our field which we are studying in. Moreover, we have lot of opportunities to start small business in Toronto. Furthermore there are many fast food restaurants so we could find job as part time. For example, most of the students in Toronto working as part time in fast food restaurants. So they could experience themselves in working field. Finally, Toronto has many interesting places for tourists. I would like to talk about few spots which are CN Tower and Air Canada Center. CN Tower a great place for tourists. It is one of the famous places in Toronto because its world's tallest free standing building which is located in Downtown. You can enjoy the view from the either closed or far to watching places. It's one of the most dramatic ways of seeing the world from the CN Tower. My favourite city is Mumbai. Mumbai is the capital city of Maharashtra & also the financial capital of India. Mumbai was formerly called Bombay.
This is because the Shiv Sena party re-named and spree everything in Mumbai having anything (even names) to do with England. Because of this reason they also renamed the Victoria Terminus into “Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus”.
The airport was renamed as “Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport” disregards whether international or domestic flights operate over it. Not only this they even renamed the roads in the city. The name Mumbai is derived from Goddess Mumba Devi. Some well-known sports of Mumbai city are the Prince of Wades Museum (the Chhatrapati Shivaji Vastu Sanghralaya), Gateway of India, Juhu Beach, Marine Drive, Marve and Chowpatty.
Mumbai is a tourist spot for people located in various parts of the world. Mumbai is also blessed with great amusement parks such as Fantasy land, Tikujiniwaadi, Essel World and Water Kingdom. The city is mainly the home to Bollywood. Almost all the famous starts of India reside in Mumbai in the suburbs.
Mumbai is that part of India which works 24X7 and never sleeps. Marathi is the local language but still, Hindi and English are also spoken fluently. That is why people travelling from various parts of the world do not face any kind of language constraints in Mumbai like other cities in India.
