 CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM (CNS)

Central nervous system (CNS) is comprised of brain and spinal cord. Various sorts of sensory information are integrated and correlated within the central nervous system. In central nervous system, thoughts and emotions are generated and memories our farm and stored.

PERIPHERAL NERVOUS SYSTEM (PNS)

Peripheral nervous system (PNS) is comprised of cranial nerves that are arising from the brain and the spinal nerves that are arising from the spinal cord. The nerve cells called sensory neurons or afferent neurons are the main input components of the Peripheral nervous system (PNS). The nerve cells called Motor neurons

 AUTONOMIC NERVOUS SYSTEM

The autonomic nervous system is mainly responsible for controlling the involuntary visceral cardiac and glandular muscles of the body. It is of two types- sympathetic nervous system and parasympathetic nervous system.
