The role of sustainable development in today world:
Sustainable development refers to such type of development in which growth occurs without using high amount of natural resources. It maintains a balance between the natural resource uses and development.
Due to rapid urbanization and increase birth and decreased death ratios, the available natural resource appears insufficient to the existing population. The concept of sustainable development plays a tremendous role during such condition. It checks that the available resources are used judicially and is also used for right purpose and none of the resource is polluted or being illegally used by any firm or individual.
