b)I can surely say that it is because of less trees,deforestation, wastage of water and even fresh water is made poisonous because of industrial waste being mixed in rivers and oceans.
well these are reasons in normal time.when it come to summer time ,the shortage of rain and drying of rivers also affect the consumption of water.
c)there is a general shortage for middle class people about 20 or 30 percentage of shortage .but for the rich people ,I don't think there will be shortage .it depends upon the state of the people.there is a general shortage of water for 85 percent of people in india
