Fleming's left hand rule is used to denote the direction of motion of the conductor in case of electric motor.

Let the thumb, fore finger and central finger are stretched in such a way that they are mutually perpendicular to each other.

As per Fleming's left hand rule, if central finger represents the conventional current and the fore finger as magnetic field, then direction of motion of the conductor is denoted by the thumb.

Fleming's right hand rule is used to denote the direction of induced current in case of a electric generator.

Let the thumb, fore finger and central finger are stretched in such a way that they are mutually perpendicular to each other.

As per Fleming's right hand rule, if fore finger represents the magnetic field and thumb as the direction of the motion of the conductor, then the induced current produced on the conductor is denoted by the middle or central finger.
