He sits in England...

Indian president sits in throne made in India....

He sits in India...

In terms of political situation the president of India and the British King are both on the same position.

However one important point of discrimination is that the president of India is indirectly elected for his post where as the king is a result of aristocracy.

Another point of difference is that the president of India has some actual duties but the king is merely a rubber stamp in the country try.
