Answer:

  1. starch and glycogen and the Polymers of glucose. starch is used for storage of glucose in plants. whereas glycogen is mainly used by animals to store glucose.
  2. chlorophyll and haemoglobin are pigments. chlorophyll gives green colour to the leaves and haemoglobin gives red colour to the blood. both haemoglobin and chlorophyll have a porphyrin structure that binds with a central metal ion to form a complex essential for its metabolic function.
  3. gills and lungs are the respiratory organs. gills help fish to breathe in water and lungs help humans to breathe on land. both are highly vascularised and provide a large surface area for exchang of gases.
  4. arteries and veins are the blood vessels that transport blood between heart and body tissues. arteries carry oxygenated blood from heart to all the parts of the body and veins carry deoxygenated blood from all the parts of the body to the heart.
