In sexual reproduction genetic recombination occurs which results in variation due to composition of two genes of different parents, while in asexual reproduction no genetic recombination occurs therefore no variation occurs. so, sexually produced species have better chance to survive.

The offsprings of sexual reproduction have high resistance were as offsprings of asexual reproduction have low resistance.

by this the offsprings of sexual reproduction can servive for a long time and if there is any change in environment they can mould them in to that environment but the offsprings of asexual cannot do that hence there is a chance of death.
