☞ One of the zeros of polynomial P(x) can be (-5) or 1/2.
✭ P(x) = 2x²+9x-5
☆ Factorise the above expression.
➝ 2x²+10x-x-5 = 0
➝ (2x²+10x)+(-x-5) = 0
➝ 2x(x+5) -1(x+5) = 0
➝ (x+5)(2x-1) = 0
Either x+5 = 0
Either (2x-1) = 0
➢ 2x = 1
