Answer:

Advantages.... 1- They do not shrink. 2- They are quick drying and need very little or no ironing. 3- They last longer as compared the fabrics made from natural fibres. Disadvantages... 1- Synthetic fibres do not absorb water or sweat. In hot and humid weather therefore the clothes made of synthetic fibre stick to the body and make the wearer uncomfortable. 2- Synthetic fibres melt and burn easily. 3- Synthetic fibres on catching fire shrink forming beads which stick to the skin. Therefore it is not advisable to use clothes made from synthetic fibres while working near flam/fire, such as,in kitchen. 4- Synthetic fibres are nonbiodegradable . Therefore they cause soil pollution.

Advantages :Using Synthetic Fibers

1)Cheaper. Most natural fibers can be incredibly expensive, especially in their pure form, and synthetic fibers provide cheaper alternatives to the natural products.

2)Stain resistant.

3)Waterproof and water resistant.

Disadvantages:

1)The mono-fibers do not trap air pockets like cotton and provide poor insulation.

2)Synthetic fibers burn more rapidly than natural.

3)Prone to heat damage.

4)Melt relatively easily.

5)Prone to damage by hot washing.
