It was a stormy night. The rain was pouring down heavily and the wind was so strong that many trees were uprooted. I was returning home after visiting Vivek when I felt that someone was holding my shoulder. When I turned around to see who that was, but I was not able to see that person because the person was standing in darkness. I asked him with fear inside me, “Who are you?”, The person came under the streetlight and said in a gentle voice, “I am your Uncle, Joy.” When I saw him my fear flew out of me and I made a sigh and said to him, “Uncle, you've frightened me.” He asked me where were my parents? I told him that they went to a birthday party and as I was feeling lonely I went to visit my friend, Vivek. My Uncle told me to come to his home. I went along with him by talking about the climate and the weather and we reached his home. I ran with excitement to see my Aunty and knocked on the door. No one came to open the door. When I turned around, my Uncle disappeared in thin air. I slowly opened the door. The door opened with a creepy voice. When I entered, there was no light. When I went and switched on the light, I heard a sound of the bursting of party crackers. I rubbed my eyes and saw that it was my birthday party and I had totally forgotten about it. There was my Uncle and Aunty, my cousins and even my parents. I went to Uncle Joy with a curious mind and asked him how he got inside. He said that when I ran towards the door, he went to the backside of his home and entered through the back door of the house. I went to my parents and asked them, “Was this the birthday party you went to?” After hearing this they all laughed together loudly. I also laughed with them and celebrated my birthday.
