It has many merits and demerits, which some of them are merits :1) it is a renewable energy which means that if the energy is finished using by us we can again get from the sun.2) It reduces electricity bill. 3)Diverse application,which means it can be used in some other applications. demerits :1)Cost, The initial cost of purchasing a solar system is very high. 2) it is dependent to the weather of that place.3)Solar enery has to be stored in large batteries
