FRIENDS
A true friend is the person who is believed to be the closest and dearest one for any boy or girl. Without any friend life is just meaningless and dull. To find a good and best friend is just like to win the half of the world.
A good friend‘s company always matters a lot in the success of a person. A child learns good or bad habits from his or her friend but if one gets good company as friend he is the luckiest person in word. Never lose those friends who were always besides you in your bad time.
We can’t live our life alone we need a friend on every stage of it. Any relation can be stronger if it adds friendship in to this for example a father or a mother can be the first friend of their child who helps them in growing with best upbringing for the better way of life. Friendship is the relation where friends listen and try to understand each other’s problems. Thus we can say that this relation is about good listeners. There is nothing can be hidden among true friends and friends never lies to their best buddies. This is the greatness of true friendship.
RELATIVES
Relatives are often related to us through not merely the bonds of blood, but bonds in the share market that can leave our blood at risk. Indeed in this cruel and self-serving world, having a relative who truly values relationships for what they should be is rare. In every newspaper, on every second day, we come across accounts between family members who claim inheritance after the demise of some senior patriarch who had amassed enough wealth during his lifetime to be so passionately remembered by his ‘loved ones’ even after his death. We hardly need to wonder whether the love of these relations is for the man or his wealth!
It is not that these relations do not visit us today but the numbers have definitely declined. Some joint families in particular, and in rare cases some nuclear families also, have the fortune of playing host to their relations. Thus, we have a distant uncle who is fond of reading and can be a raconteur par excellence for the lovers of stories in the house, particularly after a good dinner. There can be a distant aunt or a grandmother who is a fantastic cook and also a connoisseur of rare pickles that seduce your taste buds and keep you longing for more.

Explanation:
Friends :
Friends are the individual in everyone’s life on whom we can rely and share everything which we are not able to share with our family members. They are the one who are mostly of same age groups and who can easily understand us. True friends are those who can help us whenever we are in any difficult situation and on whom we can trust blindly. Friendship is a bond which is everlasting and a true friend is the gem of life that will never leave you alone in your life whatever the circumstances be.
Friends help us to forget our sorrows and make us enjoy every moment of our life. They are the one who are always ready for our help and also save us from falling prey to the evils things of the society.
Relatives:
Family is the basic unit of social organisation. It occupies the nuclear position in the social structure. It is one of the smallest primary groups in the human society. It is both an association and institution. “It is the most, says Robert Bierstadt, permanent and the most pervasive of all social institutions. All societies large and small, primitive and civilized, ancient and modern have some family or the other. No one knows, or can know, how or when the family began. It is safe to surmise that family in some form will always be with us”. Really, there is neither society nor any civilization, past or present where family is not found, In other words, no society ever exists without family. Although with the passing of time the family has undergone various changes in its forms and functions, still it is one of the most stable and enduring associations and institutions of human society. The word ‘family’ is derived from the Latin word ‘Famulus’ which means a servant, In Roman law the word ‘families’ refers to the group of producers and slaves and other servants as well as members connected by common descent or marriage. In general, family consists of a man and woman with a child or children and servants. Further, the concept of family can be understood better with the following definitions. MacIver and Page defined family as “a group defined by a sex relationship sufficiently precise and enduring to provide for the procreation and upbringing of children”. Burgess and Locke in their book ‘The family’ say that, “Family is a group of persons united by the ties of marriage, blood or adoption, consisting a single household, interacting and inter-communicating with each other in their respective social roles of husband and wife, mother and father, son and daughter, brother and sister creating a common culture”.
