1) Metals are melleable: this means that metal can be hammered or beaten to form thin sheets without breaking......

2) Metals are ductile : this means that metal can be drawn or stretched into thin wires ......

3) Metals are good conductor of heat and electricity: metals are good conductor of heat .they have high thermal conductivity .

4) Metals are lustrous : this mean that metals have a shiny surface .when freshly prepared this property of shining surface of metal is called metallic lustre....

5) Metals are generally hard: Metals are generally quite hard.
but all metals are not equally hard.
their hardness varies from one matter to the other .
for example aluminium and iron....

1) Non metals are not malleable .but they are brittle....
