O Rain! You're a wonder gift!

You give our lives a healthy lift.

You are so pure, free and soft,

You pour water to us who starve.

Water is now very scarce,

Safe and clean is very rare.

So we collect rain and store,

For use when we need more.

Collecting rainwater is easy

And cheap, but not for the lazy!

We can just collect every drop

That falls on our rooftop.

Rainwater is safe and sound;

It improves water under the ground.

Let us harvest it to end our sorrow,

And save it for a better morrow.
