Given:

write prime numbers between 45 and 50.

Solution:

Prime Numbers:

  • Prime Numbers are the numbers that are divisible by 1 and the number itself.

For example, 2, 3, 5, 7, 11 etc.

2 is the only number that is even as well as prime.

Numbers between 45 and 50.

45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50.

  • The numbers 45, 46, 48, 49, 50 have more than 2 factors(1 and the number itself) so these numbers are not prime
  • 47 has only two factors - 1 and the number itself. So, 47 is a prime.

Hence, the required answer is the number 47.
