it is pretty easy to create a group in messenger
keep the data on in your phone
open the messenger app..
you  would be seeing three things ..
messages,active ,groups
click on groups..you will find the groups in which you are present..you will be finding a symbol on the right side at the bottom of the page like two people with the plus symbol
click it..you would be able to see some friends with whom u regularly chat...click them add them or if u want other people search for them in the search box..
and finally name your group and its created
