Write purpose of the following shortcut keys

(a) Shift + Down/up/left/Right

(b) Ctrl+home

Answer:

(a) Shift + Down : This is used for selecting lines downwards the cursor.

Shift + Up : This is used for selecting lines upwards the cursor, and it is the just opposite of Shift + Down

Shift + Left : This is used for selecting letters to the left of the cursor.

Shift + Right : This is used for selecting lines to the right of the cursor.

(b) Ctrl + Home : This is used to go to first line of the entire document.

(c) Ctrl + N : Its general use is to create a new file. But in windows explorer it opens a new window.

(d) Ctrl + S : It is used to save a file

(e) Ctrl + F4 : It is used to close a tab or window within a program

NOTE : The are also other shortcut for these keys when used within a particular application. Those I have were their general use
