Write Remedial measures for
snake bite, Sunstroke,
serious Burns and dog bite
Answers
Answer:
SNAKE BITE:
Traditionally, first aid included making local incisions or “tattooing” at the site of the bite, attempts at suctioning venom out of the wound, use of tight bands (tourniquets) around the limb, and/or local application of ice packs. None of the traditional remedies have any proven medical benefit.
SUNSTROKE:
Drinking coconut water two to three times a day not only keeps your body hydrated and body temperature down but also improves your skin quality.
SERIOUS BURNS:
As quickly as possible, soak the burn in cool water.
Don't hesitate to run cool water over the burn long enough to cool the area and relieve the pain immediately after the injury. Do not use ice on a burn. It may delay healing. Also, do not rub a burn; it can increase blistering
DOG BITE:
If an animal bite has punctured the skin, it is important to wash the wound really well and look out for any signs of infection. It is sensible to get any bite that has punctured the skin looked at by a medical professional.
