Independence day program was celebrated in our school on 15th August this year. The program started at 7:30 am with the welcome of our honorable chief guest , respected trustee of our school sir Manoj Sharma. We all welcomed him with a round of applause and then with our principal sir. Our chief guest hoisted the flag at 8a.m. We all sang our national anthem “Jan Gana Mana” with great pride and patriotism. After the national anthem ended, our chief guest gave a brief speech on how we are the future of our nation and we should be responsible for our behavior and what we do to make our country proud. Youth of our country can make a name at the world level and we can be the makers of this country. After his speech ended at 9 am , we all were asked to thank him and were allowed to go and receive the sweets given by our school. Our teachers gave small introductions of the freedom fighters and gave us a lot of knowledge about the struggle faced at that time. Every story filled our hearts with emotions and patriotism as they were very heart touching and at the same time real. My favorite story was of Bhagat Singh, how he sacrificed his life at a young age but did not bow his head. We all pledged to do something great for our country and make it proud. I thank our school for organizing such an informative and interesting program on Independence day.

Like every year, this year also, our school celebrated Independence Day on 15 August 2021 with great joy and pomp. On that day the sense of happiness and pride could be clearly seen on the faces of all the people as India was celebrating its 75th Independence Day on 15th August 2021. The program started with prayer at 08:00am. The Principal, Vice-Principal and all the senior teachers were sitting on the chairs on the stage and all the students were standing in the proper lining of the ground. After that, a parade was organized which was led by NCC Cadets.x After the parade was over, the Principal and our school secretary unfurled the flag together at around 8:45am. As soon as the flag was hosted, everyone sang the national anthem. After that, different types of programs were presented by the students. A class 11th student also gave an in-depth speech on how we got freedom. This was followed by a prize distribution program in which the students who got excellent marks in the previous examination were also rewarded by the principal. Our principal sir also gave a very motivational and patriotic speech. In the end, the program ended by giving a sweet box to all the students.

From 7:30 pm to 11:00 pm, approximately 2500 lamps will illuminate the Red Fort. The cost of this illumination will be around Rs 3 Crore for covering the length around 1.3 km.
The Principal was the Chief Guest of the Programme. She hoisted the national flag on the school building sharp at 8:00 am. All the students and teachers saluted the flag and then sang the National Anthem with nobody moved honoring it. Then followed the Cultural Programme. Patriotic Poems and Songs were recited both by the teachers and the students. Some students also presented the group dance and skits.
