Rabbit is an animal which can be found in many parts of the world, there are about fifty different species available of rabbits. Rabbit is an animal which comes under the category of mammals.

Rabbit is always seen living in groups or families. The group in which the rabbit live together is called a warren. If we talk about food, they depend upon the green grass and vegetables. The most attractive part of which is likened by the people their soft body and the nature of hopping.

There is a different name given to the male and female species. The male rabbit is said as buck while the name of the female rabbit is a doe. The babies of the rabbit are called as a kitten.

The female rabbit has a period of gestation of about 31 days. At a time of delivery, a female rabbit can give about 12 to 14 kitten at a time.

Rabbits seem always careful when they are roaming in the open area. God has blessed this creature the sharp ear, they have the capability to hear the sound of the falling needle. Rabbits also make freeze themselves, if they see any danger around them.

Rabbit even has a sharp vision, they see any danger from very long distance. Rabbits stay in burrows, where they feel safe.
