One of the famous proverbs that elders preach us many times is “Honesty is The Best Policy”. A honest person is respected a lot in the society. A honest person is one who can be trusted at any point of life.
Honest people are true in their work and words. We can see a honest person being trustworthy because he/she will not break the loyalty they have towards others. A honest person will not cheat anyone for any reason.
There are many advantages of being honest. If we are honest, people will trust us. When we are trusted a lot, we are given great responsibilities. With great responsibilities, we become great achievers. So, Honesty is the stepping stone for success. We cannot think about Success without Honesty. At the same time, if a person success without honesty the success will be a temporary one.
To taste victory, we need to be honest. Sometimes, being honest might give delayed results; but being honest will not let any one down. At such times, we should keep in mind that “Slow and Steady Wins the Race”. Being real is necessary for gaining trust of people. If we are dishonest and fake, no one believe us. We need support from family, friends and society to come up in life. Only when we are honest, we will be respected and supported by others.
As students, we should be honest in our studies and be true to our friends, teachers and parents. If we come across any of our friends who are ignorant, we should insist them on the importance of honesty and make them realize “Honesty is the Best Policy”

If you are honest, your life will be wonderful. Honesty is the best policy is a famous proverb by Benjamin Franklin. It really is true that honesty is the best policy. People who lie undergo anxiety. They are under the stress. It is my very own experience. When we lie, we are very stressed. We have fear of how people will react if they found out the truth. But being honest means no worries in life. Yes, I accept that being honest sometimes become a trouble in beginning. We may even think that we should lie to get rid of the problem but it won't last for long. The lie will eventually come in light. So be true to the people around you and more importantly be true to yourself.
