COPRA means- Consumers Protection Act.
It was enacted in 1986 .
The act aims at rights of the Consumer and the responsibilities of the supplier.
This act is a power in the hands of we consumers to safeguard against faulty products and unfair trade practices in the market.
It also brings Consumer commission, Consumer councils mad different forums as NGOs to help consumers.
A three tier quasi-judicial system gives the judicial remedy in the hands of consumers.
