Dr. Rajendra Prasad:-

Rajendra Prasad (3 December 1884 – 28 February 1963) was an Indian independence activist, lawyer, scholar and subsequently, the first President of India, in office from 1950 to 1962.[1] He was an Indian political leader and lawyer by training. Prasad joined the Indian National Congress during the Indian Independence Movement and became a major leader from the region of Bihar. A supporter of Mahatma Gandhi, Prasad was imprisoned by British authorities during the Salt Satyagraha of 1931 and the Quit India movement of 1942. After the constituent assembly 1946 elections, Prasad served as Minister of Food and Agriculture in the central government. Upon independence in 1947, Prasad was elected as President of the Constituent Assembly of India, which prepared the Constitution of India and served as its provisional parliament.

Dr APJ Abdul Kalam:-

A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, in full Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam, (born October 15, 1931, Rameswaram, India—died July 27, 2015, Shillong), Indian scientist and politician who played a leading role in the development of India’s missile and nuclear weapons programs. He was president of India from 2002 to 2007.

Kalam earned a degree in aeronautical engineering from the Madras Institute of Technology and in 1958 joined the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). In 1969 he moved to the Indian Space Research Organisation, where he was project director of the SLV-III, the first satellite launch vehicle that was both designed and produced in India. Rejoining DRDO in 1982, Kalam planned the program that produced a number of successful missiles, which helped earn him the nickname “Missile Man.” Among those successes was Agni, India’s first intermediate-range ballistic missile, which incorporated aspects of the SLV-III and was launched in 1989.

Rajendra Prasad' was born on 3rd December, 1884 in the Ziradei village, Siwan district of Bihar, India. His father's name was Mahadev Sahai, who was a scholar of Sanskrit and Persian languages. His mother's name was Kamleshwari Devi, who was a religious woman.

After the completion of elementary education, Rajendra Prasad went to study at T.K. Ghosh's Academy in Patna. He joined the Presidency College, Calcutta in 1902. Once an examiner wrote on his answer sheet 'examinee is better than examiner'. It proves that he was a great scholar. Rajendra Prasad served in various educational institutions as a teacher. He joined the High Court of Bihar and Odisha as a lawyer in 1916.

Dr. Apj Abdul Kalam

Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam was born on 15th October, 1931. Dr. Kalam as a scientist and engineer was involved with many important projects of Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) and Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).

During the work in ISRO, he played a major role in development of India’s first indigenous satellite Launching Vehicle (SLV– 3), and with help of it in July 1980, the Rohini satellite was successfully established in near the earth’s orbit.

Dr. Kalam had special contribution in the missile development program in India. That is why Dr. Kalam is also known as “Missile Man”. He became the 11th President of India. In addition to it he had written many books.

The Government of India has honoured him ‘Padma Bhushan’ , ‘Padma Vibhushan’ ‘Bharat Ratna’ and many more prizes. Dr. Kalam died on July 27, 2015 in Shillong, Meghalaya.
