Explanation:

Gonds:

The Gonds lived in a vast-forested area at Madhya Pradesh which was called Gondwana or the land where the Gonds live. The Gonds followed the Shifting Cultivation. The Gond tribe was very large and was divided into smaller clans which has a Raja or Rai. These smaller clans were known as Garhs. Each Garh was controlled by a Gond leader. These Garhs was further divided into 84 villages called Chaurasi. The Chaurasi was further divided into 12 villages called Barhots.

Ahoms:

The Ahoms migrated to the Brahmaputra-valley from Myanmar in the thirteenth century. They created a new state by suppressing the older political system of the landlords. The Ahoms built a large state and used firearms and could even make high-quality gunpowder and cannons. The Ahom state depended on forced labour. These forced labours were called Paiks. The Ahoms faced many invasions from the South-west. The mughals attacked the Ahoms and defeated them in 1662.
