Heart is a said as a pump in our body which beats non stop which is considered impossible. It pumps blood. It sends O2 rich blood to the body and CO2 rich blood  to the lungs to release it via the nose.

HUMAN HEART :

》Human Heart is mesodermal in origin.

》It is located in the thoracic cavity between the lungs.

》It is protected by pericardium which is a double walled membrane enclosing pericardial fluid.

》Our heart consists of four chambers - two upper chambers called atria and two lower chambers called ventricles.

》A thick walled septum called the inter-ventricular septum separates the left and right ventricles.

》A thin septum called inter-atrial septum separates right and left atria.

》Atrioventricular septum separates the atria and the ventricle of the same side.

》Bicuspid Valve regulates the opening between the left atrium and left ventricle.

》Tricuspid Valve regulates the opening between the right atrium and right ventricle.
