Money remittance services of post offices include Money order (MO), Instant money order (iMO), International money transfer(IMT), Mobile money transfer service (MMTS), IFS money order, and Electronic clearance service(ECS).
Usually, money up to the amount of 5000 can be sent per MO form, which is filled by the sender. Instant money order is sent on-line through the iMO post offices, to send money up to 50,000.
IMT facility is used by the people settled abroad, to send money to their relatives living at homeland. ECS is used for transferring salaries, pensions and other large amounts of money through banks.
