 Adolescents are faced with many difficult life decisions which, whencoupled with their lack of self-knowledge, cause identity crises. They maylook to other alternatives which would influence the paths of life that theywant to take. Example of such alternatives could be celebrities, teachers,relatives or maybe other role models in society. Adolescence is thedevelopmental stage between childhood and adulthood; it generallyrefers to a period ranging from teen years i.e 13 to around nineteen years.This is the age when one can either make something of his life or destroyit at all. An adolescence is period of physical and psychologicaldevelopment from the onset of puberty to maturity. The adolescent is nolonger a child, but they haven't reached adulthood yet. Adolescents areoften portrayed as irresponsible and thoughtless in our media andliterature. As an adolescent it's easy to be offended by this, but the more Ithink about it the more I realize it is true and it's not at all bad. These arethe years when we learn how to be responsible, thoughtful adults. Theprimary factor for adolescent development is education. They’re fragileand easily influenced at their age. It's a time of young love, parties, highschool, living a balanced life, and finding yourself. At this age teens aresensitive, therefore, each miscarriage they encounter is equivalent to theend of the world. Teenagers are constantly in deep thought; havingemotional mood swings. They are young adults, stuck in between twocompletely divergent ages. My thoughts are not stable, my perspective onlife is different each day. Fortunately, my parents are the mostunderstanding people I know in my life, substantially my father. Theyrespect my thoughts, ideas, plans, and me overall. Adolescent suicide dueto stress, tension, peer pressure, jealousy, hatred, issues with parents,love life etc. is now responsible for more deaths in youths than any other reasons. Despite this increased suicide rate, depression in this age group ....
