In other words, structured words refer to the words upon how they fit into the sentence. For instance, a definite article 'the' follows the noun. Structured words are widely used in spoken language. It consists of articles, auxiliaries, prepositions and so forth. Also, for emphasis, it varies in pronunciation and is usually unstressed.
