tissue is a group of cells similar in structure and function. they are of two types-animal and plant . plant tissue is of two types I.e.permanent and merismatic . permanent tissue are the merismatic tissues which have now differentiated and taken permanent shape and size, they of two types -simple and complex . simple are not three types-parenchyma , collenchyma and sclerenchyma. complex are of two types -xylem and phloem. xylem has four parts parenchyma, fibres, trachieds and vessels.phloem also has four parts -parenchyma, fibres, sieve tubes and companion cells.merismatic are the growing cells.they are of three types based on their location-apical,intercalary,lateral/cambium.
animal tissues are classified as muscular , connective, nervous and epithelial tissues.
