solid: the molecules of the soild are tightly or closly packed....no space between then so..they r strong and opaque

liquid:ther the molecules are some what loosely packed means light can be passed through it but the light os not so...clear

gases:here the molecules are free....the can move easily so.....the light can pass very easly...
