HEY MATE..... HERE IS UR ANSWER ...
NOTES:
1) Islets of langerhans forms the endocrine part of pancreas...
2) these are small endocrine cells scattered between acini cells...( exocrine part)
3) These were discovered by langerhans
4) they are 1 to 2 million in pancreas
5) they form 1 to 2% of total pancreas...
6) each Islets of langerhans has four tyoes of cells
alpha cells beta cells gama cells
secretes secretes secretes
glucagon insulin somatostatin
pancreatic polypeptide cells.
secretes pancreatic polypeptide..

Answer:
Islets of Langerhans:
- The endocrine part of pancreas is made up of groups of cells present in the connective tissue between the acini. These are called as Islets of Langerhans.
- They are made up of alpha (a) cells and beta (B) cells.
- a cells secrete glucagon and ß cells secrete insulin.
- Both these hormones together control the blood sugar level.
- They also consist of delta cells which secrete somatostatin hormone, which decreases glucagon and insulin secretion.
