Hey mate here is ur answer
==> Acids are used as catalysts in industrial and organic chemistry; for example, sulfuric acid is used in very large quantities in the alkylation process to produce gasoline. Some acids, such as sulfuric, phosphoric, and hydrochloric acids, also effect dehydration and condensation reactions.
Acid Rain
==> Acid rain is a rain or any other form of precipitation that is unusually acidic, meaning that it has elevated levels of hydrogen ions. It can have harmful effects on plants, aquatic animals and infrastructure.

1.
Acids have numerous uses, some of which include:
=> HCL in stomach.
=> H2So4 in car batteries, as diying agent.
=> HNo3 in manufacturing industry.
=> Ethanoic acid in soap making.
=> Fatty acid in soap making.
=> Ascorbic acid in medicine.
2.
Acid rain is the precipitation that has pH of less than that of natural rainwater (which is about 5.6 due to dissolved carbon dioxide).
It is formed when sulphur dioxide and Nitrogen oxides, as gases or fine particles in the atmosphere, combine with water vapour and precipitate as sulphuric acid or nitric acid in rain, snow, or fog.
