A. Minerals

:• Minerals are substances that are formed naturally in the Earth. Rocks are made of minerals. Minerals are usually solid, inorganic, have a crystal structure, and form naturally by geological processes. ... A mineral can be made of single chemical element or more usually a compound.

B. Crust

:• a crust is the outermost layer of a planet. The crust of the Earth is composed of a great variety of igneous, metamorphic, and sedimentary rocks. The crust is underlain by the mantle. The upper part of the mantle is composed mostly of peridotite, a rock denser than rocks common in the overlying crust.

C. Ecosystem

:• The system which includes all the living organisms,i.e. plants, animals and microorganisms of an area and the physical environment.

D .Pollution

:• Pollution is the introduction of contaminants into the natural environment that cause adverse change. Pollution can take the form of chemical substances or energy, such as noise, heat, or light. Pollutants, the components of pollution, can be either foreign substances/energies or naturally occurring contaminants.
