a ) Tatya Tope : Tatya tope was general in Indian Rebellion in 1857 and one of its notable leaders. He was born in 1814 as Ramchandra Panduranga to a Marathi Deshastha Brahmin family and took on the title Tope , meaning commanding officer . His first name Tatya meant general . A Personal adherent of Nana saheb of Bithur . He progressed with the Gwalior contingent after British reoccupied Kanpur and forced general Windham to retreat from city. He was execute by British at shivpuri on 18 April 1859

b) Rani Lakshmi Bai : Lakshmi bai was born on 19 november 1828 , was the queen of Indian princely state of jhansi in North India . She was one of Indian Rebellion in 1857 and become a symbol of resistance to British raj for Indian nationalist's . She died on 18 june 1858 .

c ) Nana Saheb : Nana saheb was born on 19 may 1824 at Dondhu path , was peshwaof Maratha empire . Who led the rebellion in Kanpur , during the 1857 uprising . Nana saheb believe that he was entitled to a pension from East India Company . He went to Nepal gills in 1859 where he thought to have died .

d) Begam Hazrat Mehal : Begum Hazart Mahal also called Begum of Awadh , was the second wife of Nawab Wajid Ali Shah . She rebelled against East India Company in the Indian Rebellion of 1857 . She was born in Faziabad in 1820 and died on 7 April 1879 in Kathmandu, Nepal .
