ANSWER :-

Dehiscence of sporangium-

  • The spores start germinating inside the sporangium brfore their release.
  • The above process is known as Precocious germination.
  • On maturation, the sporangium splits vertically from the upper end into two valves. This process is known as vertical apical splitting.
  • The lower cup-shaped portion shrinks and the spores come out through the apical slits.
  • This is brought about by cohesion owing to hygroscopic changes in the apical and lateral pasrt of the sporangial wall.
  • The liberation of spores takes place at intervals and in small masses.

Answer:

Write short notes on Dehiscence mechanism of sporangium in Nephropexies.

Explanation:

  • Sporangium is the structure present in some types of plants and also on some organisms with spores who stores.
  • This spores are in haploid structure, due to its structure it helps the organisms to germinate and form new organisms.
  • We can say that haploid shape helps them to reproduce.
  • Sporangium are the spores in  fungi, algae.
  • Sporangium occurs on angiosperms, gymnosperms, fern allies, bryophytes.
  • Sporangium also contains cytoplasm.
  • During the asexual reproduction in organisms, these spores are dispersed through wind and germinate into haploid hyphae.
  • In biology we can term sporangium as a stalk, which means the structure who bear sporangia.
