Explanation:The cell was first discovered and named by Robert Hooke in 1665. He remarked that it looked strangely similar to cellula or small rooms which monks inhabited, thus deriving the name. However what Hooke actually saw was the dead cell walls of plant cells(cork) as it appeared under the microscope.

firstly the cell was discovered by Robert hooke in 1665 he observe the cell of cork he seem to be that there is honeycomb like structure or there are little rooms by observing does Robert hooke named it as a cell which is derived from the word cellula which mean little room it is a dead cell .

now the live cell was discovered by Anton Von Leeuwenhoek observe Live Cell then nucleus was observed by Robert Brown . nucleus is the brain of the cell it control all the metabolism reaction done in the cell and futher all the part of the cell like Golgi apparatus ribosomes smooth endoplasmic reticulum rough endoplasmic reticulum and it combine make all to do all the work which is performed and we also say them the building block and functional unit of life
