Bonjour!
*Bone*
Bone is the hardest tissue in the body. Its matrix is tough containing both inorganic and
organic substances such as calcium salts, collagen fibres etc.
The matrix has numerous bone cells, the osteocytes. An osteocyte is surrounded by a fluid-filled space, the bone lacuna.
*Blood*
Blood is a fluid connective tissue containing plasma, red blood cells, white blood cells and
platelets.
It is the main circulating fluid that helps in the transport of various substances. RBCs are involved in transport of oxygen and carbon dioxide. WBCs act as soilders of the body and blood platelets help in clotting of blood.
Hope this helps...:)
